What role does literature play in my life?

Literature plays a significant role in my personal development. Yesterday, I watched a movie called "Les Miserables" which was adapted from Victor Hugo's famous novel. The movie ues emotions of characters to illustrate the Franch history, right and wrong, fair treatment under the law and cozy family love. It is the literature----created in this movie-----that totally impact me. Literature is like a teacher that teaches me to distinguish between good and bad, teaches me to learn self-esteem and teaches me to grow. Probably, that's the reason why I love to read literature and get inside of it. Learning from this movie, the literature on which it is based taught me the changing of humman nature under hard conditions. Except thish, literature not only improves my personal development, but also enriches my emtion. Moreover, literature is a means of witnessing the growth and history of our country. Movie watching is a simple way to enjoy literature, often not the same as the actual written story. In addition, I like to read some novels and digest and chew the meaning from the literature----read it and enjoy it. Literature is connected closely to our lives. It is obvious that a person with knowledge is more capable to make friends  than the person know a tiny bit of things. While knowledge comes from reading and understanding a literature. For this point, because the people who are knowledge are often respected, the meaning of literature is an inexhaustible area of my personal development that I would like to pursue.
